The New Palestine boys volleyball team swept its home opener Tuesday, beating Herron 25-14, 25-12, 25-14. Hayden Taylor led the Dragons at the net with 11 kills and six digs. Peyton Mullen added six kills and three aces, while Jude Hinkle had five kills and seven digs. Dawson Lawless had five kills, 33 assists, five digs and two blocks. Jack Hehmann added eight digs, while Lucas Holmes tallied six aces. The Dragons (3-2) are back in action Wednesday at home against Southport.
