New Palestine High School

The New Palestine golf team posted a 195-215 victory over Shelbyville Thursday at Blue Bear Golf Course. The Dragons brought their JV team to face Shelbyville's varsity. Tessa Mohr was medalist for her second straight match, posting a 44 to lead the Dragons. Janie Hamilton shot 48, Matti Tiede-White 49 and Alyssa Beller 54. Mohr, Hamilton and Beller all led the Dragons on the greens with 16 putts each. The Dragons (11-2) next compete Saturday in the Hoosier Heritage Conference meet at Albany Golf Club.
