New Palestine High School

The New Palestine boys tennis team won its second consecutive match Wednesday, beating host Lawrence Central 5-0. The Dragons were dominant, dropping only nine games in the five matches. Moses Haynes, Arjomand Khokhar and Brady Torzewski all won 6-1, 6-0 at singles. At doubles, Max Havel/Joey McPike won 6-1, 6-2, while Eli Sloan/Tyler Wilson won 6-2, 6-1. The Dragons also won the JV match 6-0, with Carson Rush, Luke Bartusek, Joel Dorval, Nick Parrrett/Andrew Hahn, Jesse Isaacs/Carter Willey and Ryland Edwards all winning by identical 6-0 scores. The Dragons are back in action Thursday at home against Yorktown.
