New Palestine High School

The New Palestine golf team competed Tuesday at Prairie View against two of the state's top teams. The Dragons shot 187 to finish third in a triangular match against Westfield (161) and Hamilton Southeastern (174). Katie Kelley led the Dragons with a 41. Lauren Deering and Lily Kirchner each shot 48s. Hanna Beller added a 50 and Lauren Appleby a 51. In addition, the JV beat Morristown 190-236 Tuesday at Blue Bear. Tessa Mohr was match medalist with a personal-best 45. The Dragons are next in action Wednesday against Richmond at the Richmond Elks Country Club.
