New Palestine High School

The New Palestine gymnastics team placed second at Saturday's Connersville Invitational. The Dragons tallied 103.375 points, finishing second to Columbus North (106.875). NP finished ahead of Noblesville (102.5), Roncalli (101.525), Connersville (97.4), Franklin Central (95.575) and Seymour (87.95). Lexi Hall won the vault. Lynzie Stiller was fifth. The Dragons had three placers on the floor exercise, as Hall was second, Stiller fourth and Olivia Frank sixth. Stiller was eighth on bars. Beam placements were unavailable. Stiller was seventh in the all-around. Frank was eighth and Hall was 10th. The Dragons are next in action Wednesday at home against New Castle.
