New Palestine High School

The New Palestine girls swimming and diving team competed in Thursday's sectional preliminaries, with multiple swimmers advancing to Saturday's finals. The Dragons will have 14 swims in the finals, with 12 more in the consolation finals. The Dragons advanced all threee swimmers to the finals in the 100 breaststroke, where Lillie Abernathy, Piper Schaefer and Abigail Singer will all compete in the finals. Abernathy, Schaefer and Ireland Armstrong will compete in the finals in four events. The top eight in each race are in the championship final, positions 9-16 in the consolation final.
