New Palestine High School

The New Palestine girls soccer team posted a 4-0 shutout of Yorktown Thursday, improving to 2-0 in the Hoosier Heritage Conference. Tylar Whitaker, Hannah Sund, Nevaeh Gebhart and Allie Blum all scored for the Dragons, with Gebhart, Whitaker and Vivian Miller all adding assists. Kylee Beranek had the clean sheet in goal. Miller earned the team's hard hat award. The Dragons are now 4-2-1 on the season. They next play Wednesday at Mt. Vernon.
