New Palestine High School

The New Palestine boys swimming and diving team dropped a triangular meet Monday at Greenwood. The Dragons fell 62-36 to Roncalli and 65-36 to Greenwood. Hudson Hughes was the Dragons' winner, claiming the diving competition with a score of 135.70. Reese Cox finished second in the 100 butterfly. Finishing third were Sam Dobbins in the 50 freestyle and 500 freestyle, Jake Myers in the 100 freestyle, the 200 medley relay team of Dobbins, Tyler Schmidt, Cox and Myers; and the 400 free relay team of Max Watson, Hughes, Schmidt and Dobbins. The Dragons finish the regular season with a 6-6 mark in dual and tri-meets. They next compete Feb. 19 in the sectional at the NPHS Natatorium.
