New Palestine High School

The New Palestine gymnastics team had another strong performance Thursday, scoring 106.6 points to beat Columbus North (104.775) and Westfield (104.275) at The Gymnastics Company. The Dragons' best event was the floor exercise, where Kalle Jones (9.325) and Lynzie Stiller (9.3) finished 1-2. Olivia Frank was fifth (8.95). On balance beam, Eden Coleman was second (9.25), Olivia Frank fourth (8.825) and Jones fifth (8.725). On uneven bars, Olivia Clark finished second (8.575), Frank fourth (8.475) and Stiller fifth (8.45). On vault, Lexi Hall finished second (9.1) and Stiller fourth (8.925). Frank was sixth (8.7). Frank was second in the all-around (34.95) and Stiller third (34.1). The Dragons are now 3-0 in dual and tri-meets. They next compete Feb. 3 at Noblesville in a three-way meet with Fishers.
