The New Palestine girls volleyball team improved to 6-1 on the season Monday with a 25-18, 25-12, 25-20 victory over Greenwood Christian. Azure Flagle had 10 digs and six aces to lead the Dragons' back line. Makaeli Johnson added seven digs and Kyndra Monteith five. Bella Brownfield had a strong all-around match with nine kills, five digs, three aces and a block. Sam Gooding had 31 assists, four kills and four digs. Nyla Lewis and Hayden Ramsey added five kills and two blocks each. Rachel Burke had six kills and a block. The Dragons also won the JV match in two sets. The Dragons are back in action Wednesday at Hamilton Heights.
