New Palestine High School

The New Palestine swimming and diving teams fell Tuesday in a dual meet at Greenfield-Central. The Dragons girls dropped a 139-47 decision. The boys fell 150-33. Winning for the Dragons was Isabelle Tull in diving (216.50) and Lillie Abernathy in the 100 freestyle (58.93). Finishing second was Abernathy in the 100 backstroke. Individual third-place finishers for the Dragons girls were Gwen Melby in the 100 backstroke and Isabelle Singer in the 100 breaststroke. Individual third-place finishers for the Dragons boys were Sam Dobbins in the 200 IM, Parker Hurst in the 500 freestyle and Tyler Schmidt in the 100 breaststroke. The Dragons are next in action Thursday at home against Perry Meridian.
