New Palestine High School

The New Palestine wrestling teams both swept Warren Central Tuesday night. The Dragons boys beat the Warriors 42-30 in their season opener. The Dragons girls won 36-30 to improve to 4-1 in dual meets. Winners for the Dragons boys were Sebastian Stilts (106), Blake Doss (113), Zion Tavorn (144), Gunner Butt (150), Carson Clements (165), Gabe Flick (175), Isaiah Jones (190) and Collin May (215). For the Dragons girls, Calie Means, Callee Rains, June Wagner-Gilbert, Bellamy Reardon, Reagan Fortier and Miranda LaRoche all won. The Dragons girls are next in action in Saturday's Gobbler Invitational at Lawrence Central. The boys are next in action Wednesday at home against Fishers.
