New Palestine High School

The New Palestine girls wrestling team swept a double-dual Wednesday night, beating North Central 48-34 and Triton Central 42-18. Calie Means (120), Kalissa Jacobs (125), Callee Rains (130), June Wagner-Gilbert (135), Bellamy Reardon (140) and Carmie Kelle (145) all went 2-0. Erica Whetsel and Elizabeth Champ both went 1-0 at 155. Miranda LaRoche also won a match and went 1-1 at 190. The Dragons are now 3-1 on the season. They next compete Saturday at the Ben Davis Invitational.
