The New Palestine girls soccer team improved to 2-0 on the season Thursday with a 6-1 victory at Ben Davis. Nevaeh Gebhart had a hat trick for the Dragons, while Rylee Hurst scored twice and Tylar Whitaker added a goal. Whitaker also had two assists. Abigail Lambdin, Hurst and Vivian Miller also tallied assists. The Dragons' back line allowed only two shots on goal in the contest. The Dragons also won the JV match 2-1. Callie Rains and Kansas Spicer scored for the Dragons. The Dragons are next in action Saturday at Lawrence North, with the JV match beginning at 10 a.m. and the varsity to follow at 11:30 a.m.
