The New Palestine boys soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to HHC rival Greenfield-Central Thursday evening at the Dragons’ soccer field.
The Dragons conceded a first-half goal and trailed 1-0 at the break. NP pressed its attack on multiple occasions throughout the second half and goalkeeper Blake Bobrow kept the score at 1-0 with a handful of outstanding saves. G-C took advantage of a late handball call in the box to score its second goal in the closing minutes on a penalty kick.
The Dragons are now 2-8 overall and 1-4 in HHC play. They next play Saturday at home against HHC rival Delta.
