The New Palestine boys soccer team concluded the regular season Thursday with an emphatic 3-1 victory over Pendleton Heights on senior night.
The Dragons conceded the first goal and trailed 1-0 at halftime, but rallied with a second-half flurry. Spencer Worth scored on a shot in the penalty area in the opening minute of the second half to tie the game.
Zach Martin then gave the Dragons the lead in the 69th minute. Tyler Pipkin took the initial shot, which was saved, but Martin followed, took one touch and finished. Martin scored again three minutes later to extend the lead, again scoring on a rebound from Colby Sharp.
The Dragons open sectional play at 6 p.m. Monday at East Central against Richmond.
