Boys Varsity Tennis · Tennis falls to Whiteland

The New Palestine tennis team dropped a 5-0 decision to a talented Whiteland squad Monday afternoon.

At No. 1 singles, Ben Blachly faced a state-ranked opponent and had several great points in a 6-4, 6-0 loss. Colin Darley and Zach Au also fell in straight sets despite playing competitive tennis. The doubles teams were also competitive, but fell to a skilled Warrior squad.

The JV team fell 4-1, with Jackson Havel/Zayden Stiller winning 8-7(3).

The Dragons are next in action Wednesday at Lawrence Central.
