The New Palestine golf team shot 160 Tuesday at Royal Hylands to win a triangular meet with Shenandoah (166) and Eastern Hancock (193).
Sammy Chifalo and Matthew Barada each shot 39. Quinn Dobbins and Braeden Baker shot 41s.
“Another great night to play on a really good local course,” NP coach Gregg Greene said. “We knew Shenandoah would be good and that this course was about avoiding the trees and putting well. We keep the ball around the fairway but our putting was off. The greens were super fast and tricky on the hole location which made it much harder but we should be able to adjust better than we have so far this year. Sammy broke 40 for the second time in his career and Matt did a nice job of finishing his round to break 40.”
The Dragons are back at The Links today to face Shelbyville and Columbus North.
