Girls Varsity Track · Girls track finishes second at PH Invitational

The New Palestine girls track team finished second at the 13-team Pendleton Heights Invitational Tuesday, winning five events.

Noblesville won with 134 points. The Dragons had 101, well ahead of third-place Cathedral (73).

Jordan Reid won two events, sweeping the 100 and 200.

Aden Lumbley was the shot put champion. Kaylin Casner was a double-winner, taking the 1600. She teamed with Grace Voelz, Sophia Taylor and Brenna Shaw to win the 4×800 relay.

The Dragons are next in action Friday at the Zionsville Invitational.
