The New Palestine tennis team dropped a 5-0 decision Thursday to Park Tudor.

The Dragons’ most competitive match came from Ashley Truman/Sheridan Schrowe at No. 2 doubles, as they dropped a 6-1, 6-4 decision.

At No. 1 singles, Megan Long played competitively but dropped a 6-0, 6-0 match to a nationally-ranked player for Park Tudor. Nicole Wernimont fell 6-0, 6-0 and Caylie Almond 6-0, 6-1.

At No. 1 doubles, Claire Cherry/Josee King fell 6-2, 6-0.

The Dragon JV fell 5-0. The playback team lost 5-2, with Annelise Masshardt, Sophie Walgren, Katie Hausz and Payton Mittman winning.

The Dragons are next in action Saturday at the Mt. Vernon Invitational.
