The New Palestine baseball team dropped an 11-1 decision Thursday at Franklin Central.

The Dragons took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first when Jack Walker’s double drove home Jacob Bain.

FC answered to tie the game in the bottom of the first, extended the lead with a run in the second, then added four in the third and five in the fourth.

The Dragons also got hits from Noah Mack and Trevor Rush.

Three Dragons pitched, with starter Jaden Jaques taking the decision with 2 1/3 innings. The Dragons allowed six hits.

The Dragons open HHC play Friday at Shelbyville. The doubleheader begins at 5:30 p.m.
