Due to New Palestine’s extended participation in the IHSAA football tournament, the school has made multiple schedule changes.
The IHSAA football semistate game between the Dragons and Michigan City will be played at 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17 at Kelso Stadium. The girls basketball game at Lawrence North scheduled for that day has been moved up an hour. The JV game will tip off at 11 a.m., with the varsity to follow at 12:30 p.m.
The first three games of the Dragons’ boys basketball season have been moved to accommodate the number of multi-sport athletes on the basketball team who are currently playing football.
The game against Richmond scheduled for Nov. 21 has been moved to Saturday, Feb. 2. The JV and freshman games will tip at 1 p.m., followed by the varsity game at 2:30 p.m.
The contest against Shenandoah scheduled for Nov. 3o has been moved to Saturday, Dec. 22. The game against Rushville scheduled for Dec. 1 has been moved to Saturday, Jan. 26. Both games will begin at 6 p.m. with the JV/frosh contests (no freshman vs. Shenandoah), followed by the varsity at 7:30 p.m. All three rescheduled boys basketball games will be at home.
