Girls Varsity Soccer · Girls soccer falls in conference match

The New Palestine girls soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision Wednesday at home to Pendleton Heights in a Hoosier Heritage Conference match.

The Dragons are now 8-4 on the season and 4-2 in HHC play.

Coach Gina Fannin cited the play of Grace Voelz for her strong effort in the contest.

“The Arabians came out strong tonight and put four goals away against us,” Fannin said. “Unfortunately, we were unable to get anything going.”

The Dragons are back home tonight against Warren Central, with a 5:30 p.m. JV kickoff.

The Dragon JV won 5-0. Abby Blachly, Rhiana Brown, Sydney Cornwell and Mallory Barnes all scored.
