The New Palestine boys soccer team dropped a close 1-0 decision Thursday to Greenfield-Central.

Led by goalkeeper Adam Hunt, the Dragons’ defense played well against one of the HHC’s top teams. NP had four shots on frame in the contest.

G-C’s Zack Bell scored in the eighth minute to provide the game’s lone goal.

The Dragon JV fell 2-1.

The Dragons are now 4-6-1 on the season. They next play Saturday at Kelso Stadium against Delta, with the varsity match starting at noon, followed by a JV half.
