Girls Varsity Volleyball · Balance leads volleyball victory

The New Palestine volleyball team used a balanced attack Wednesday in a 25-16, 25-15, 19-25, 25-19 victory over Lutheran.

Lauren Dodd had a huge game at net with 10 kills on 18 attempts with no errors for a .556 hitting percentage. Lydia Jones continued her strong play with 18 kills.

Kaelyn Armstrong had eight kills and eight digs. Jesi Hall added seven kills and two blocks. Isabel Martens had three kills and three blocks.

Defensively, Audrey VanderWal and Rylie Sturgeon had eight digs each.


The Dragon JV won 25-12, 25-17. The NP freshmen also won to sweep the evening.

The Dragon varsity is now 8-3 on the season. It next plays Saturday in the Greenwood Invitational.
