The New Palestine gymnastics team finished its home schedule Tuesday with a victory in a triangular meet on Senior Night.

The Dragons tallied a team score of 98.15 to beat Shelbyville (86.725) and Waldron (85.725).

NP took the top three spots in the all-around, with Grace Shanahan winning with a score of 34.25. Taylor Brown was second (31.725) and Emma Poag third (30.875). Shanahan won bars, floor and beam, while Poag won vault.

On uneven bars, Shanahan won with a score of 8.725. Poag was second (7.825) and Brown third (7.075).

Poag tied for first on vault (8.375). Shanahan was second (8.325) and Brown third (8.3). Sarah Thompson finished fifth (8.15).

The Dragons took the top four spots in floor exercise. Shanahan (8.575) won, with Thompson (8.4) second, Addie Halter (8.325) third and Brown (8.175) fourth.

Shanahan won the balance beam with a score of 8.625. Brown (8.175) was second and Halter (7.375) fourth.

The Dragons finish the regular season with a 14-3 record in dual/tri/quad meets, as well as the title in the Rushville Invitational. They will next compete at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Connersville sectional. The Dragons will be seeking their second straight sectional title.
