Boys Varsity Swimming, Coed Varsity Swimming · Boys swimmers sweep Rebels, Woodmen

The New Palestine boys swim team beat Roncalli for the first time in 11 years and also knocked off Greenwood Monday in a double-dual meet.

The Dragons beat Roncalli 149-139, while beating Greenwood 165-99.

Louis Holbrook was a quadruple-winner for the Dragons, winning the 200 freestyle and 100 butterfly and two relays.

Tyler Corey and Iago Broullon-Blanco were both triple-winners. Corey won the 50 freestyle and two relays. Broullon-Blanco was part of three winning relay teams.

The Dragons swept the relays. Eli Branson, Broullon-Blanco, Holbrook and Corey won the 200 medley relay. Broullon-Blanco, Damon Estes, Nico Martin and Jackson Schwartz won the 200 free relay, while Corey, Holbrook, Broullon-Blanco and Martin won the 400 free relay.

Finishing second were Martin in the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly, Branson in the 100 backstroke, Corey in the 100 freestyle, Broullon-Blanco in the 100 breaststroke and Austin Lines in diving.

The Dragons (5-5) finish the regular season Monday at Pendleton Heights in a three-way meet with Hagerstown.

Louis Holbrook won four events against Roncalli and Greenwood.
Tyler Corey won three events at Greenwood.
Iago Brullon-Blanco won three relays for the Dragons.
