The New Palestine gymnastics team posted a 101.275-89.5 victory over Scecina Wednesday evening at New Palestine.

The Dragons had two of the top three finishers in the all-around. Faith Land won, posting a score of 34.125. Emily Heighway was third with a 32.05.

Land was the winner on vault with a score of 9.1. Heighway placed third (8.8) and Bailey Watkins fifth (8.175).

On uneven bars, Heighway won with a score of 8.85. Land and Grace Shanahan tied for third (7.9) and Taylor Brown was sixth (5.825).

The Dragons swept the top three spots on balance beam. Land won (8.725), followed by Shanahan (8.525) and Watkins (8.325). Brown was sixth (7.725).

On floor exercise, Heighway led the Dragons with a second-place finish (8.425). Land was third (8.4), Alex Black fifth (8.15) and Kinsey Dilley sixth (8.025).

The Dragons are now 10-1 in dual and triangular meets. They next compete Saturday at the Bloomington North Invitational.
