The New Palestine gymnastics team continued its fine start to the season with a victory over Noblesville Tuesday evening. The Dragons won by a score of 99.975-95.05.

Emily Heighway swept all four events and won the all-around with a score of 35,125. Faith Land was third in the all-around (32.425) and Bailey Watkins fourth (31.05).

On uneven bars, the Dragons took the top three spots, with Heighway (8.395), Grace Shanahan (8.05) and Land (8.025) taking the sweep.

On vault, Heighway (8.9) and Land (8.45) were 1-2. Watkins (8.4) tied for fourth, while Taylor Brown (8.2) finished sixth.

On balance beam, Heighway won with a 9.0. Watkins placed third (8.05) and Land fourth (8.025).

On floor exercise, Heighway won with a score of 8.85. Brown and Land tied for fourth (7.925), while Watkins was sixth (7.85).

The Dragons are now 9-1 on the season. They next compete Saturday in the Rushville Invitational.
