The New Palestine gymnastics team posted a score of 101.1 Tuesday evening in a sweep of Morristown and Knightstown.

The Dragons tallied 101.1 points, while Knightstown had 76.825 and Morristown 73.6.

Emily Heighway again swept all four events and was the all-around winner with a score of 35.425. The Dragons had the top three in the all-around, as Faith Land was second (33.15) and Bailey Watkins third (30.475). Taylor Brown was sixth in the all-around (28.325).

On uneven bars, Heighway was first (8.925), with Land second (7.925), Grace Shanahan third (7.8) and Alyssa Boothe fifth (6.925).

On floor exercise, the Dragons took the top six spots, with Heighway (8.575), Watkins (8.5) and Land (8.375) taking the top three. Alex Black and Kinsey Dilley tied for fourth (7.95) and Taylor Brown and TeTe Hart tied for sixth (7.65).

On vault, the Dragons took the top four spots, with Heighway (8.9), Land (8.425), Brown (8.275) and Hart (8.2). The Dragons had a 1-2-3 sweep of the balance beam, with Heighway winning (9.025) followed by Land (8425) and Watkins (7.95).

The Dragons are 6-1 on the season in dual and tri-meets. Their next meet is Thursday at Roncalli.
