Multiple Teams · Stacey third, Shriver eighth in HHC diving


New Palestine diver Collin Stacey had a third-place finish to lead the Dragon divers Thursday in the Hoosier Heritage Conference meet at Greenfield-Central.

Karen Shriver led the Dragon girls with an eighth-place finish.

Stacey totaled a score of 375.4 to place third. Ben Rader of Greenfield-Central was the HHC champion with 432.05, followed by Yorktown’s Joey Ulrich (425.35). Stacey was ahead of the fourth-place finisher, G-C’s Wyatt Deno (285.85).

Shriver totaled 282.35 points to finish eighth. Kylie Dhonau was ninth (275.5) and Lilly Hardey 19th (73.10). G-C’s Shyanne Milne was the HHC champion with a total of 405.8.

New Palestine will host the HHC swimming competition at 11 a.m. Saturday.
