The New Palestine swim teams swept conference rival New Castle in a dual meet Wednesday at New Castle.
The Dragon boys won 87-58, while the girls won 98-78.
Individual winners for the Dragon boys were Colin Stacey in diving, Louis Holbrook in the 100 butterfly, Steven Thompson in the 100 freestyle and Tyler Carter in the 500 freestyle. The Dragons also won two of the three relays. Eli Branson, Aaron Lambert, Sutton Biddle and Nico Martin won the 200 medley relay. Anthony Stultz, Biddle, Ethan Burton and Holbrook won the 200 free relay.
Finishing second for the Dragon boys were Chase Crowder in the 200 freestyle, Marlon Cabrera in the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke, Stultz in the 100 freestyle, Connor Phipps in the 100 backstroke, and the 400 free relay of Evan Denger, Eli Branson, Biddle and Keith Harp.
Individual third-place finishes for the Dragon boys went to Branson in the 100 butterfly and Stultz in the 100 backstroke.
For the Dragon girls, individual winners were Emma Nobbe in the 200 freestyle, Natalie Shanahan in diving and Maria Virt in the 100 breastroke. Nobbe led a 1-2 finish with Kaylynn Crawmer in the 200 freestyle. Shanahan, Alyssa Rieman and Lillian Hardey swept the diving.
Also winning was the 400 free relay of Crawmer, Nobbe, Maigan Williams and Cassy Moorman, leading a 1-2 finish. Bethany Neeb, Teagan Davis, Grace Mitchell and Rachel Emminger were second.
Also finishing second were Williams in the 200 individual medley and 100 butterfly, Davis in the 500 freestyle, the 200 free relay of Neeb, Allison Kirklin, Crawmer and Jordan Owens, and the 200 medley relay of Davis, Owens, Nobbe and Kirklin.
Individual third-place finishes went to Neeb in the 200 IM, Moorman in the 50 freestyle, Nobbe in the 100 butterfly, Kirklin in the 100 freestyle, Moorman in the 500 freestyle, Mitchell in the 100 backstroke and Owens in the 100 breaststroke.
