The New Palestine volleyball team continued its strong play Tuesday with a three-set victory of Eastern Hancock.

The Dragons won 25-6, 25-14, 25-15 to improve to 9-1 on the season.

Sophomore Allison Dennemann had 14 kills and three aces. Junior setter Kara Morris had four aces and 26 assists. Sophomore hitter Mia Long had six kills and seven aces. Emma Tucher added five digs.

“Tonight was a great team victory,” NP coach Kelli Whitaker said. “Everyone contributed to our win. I was proud that the girls stayed mentally tough and focused during the match.”

The Dragon JV also won 25-19, 25-12.

The Dragons are back in action Wednesday at Lutheran, with action beginning at 4:30 p.m.
