Schedule change: Boys soccer to face New Castle Thursday

The HHC boys soccer game with New Castle has been moved forward in the schedule to this Thursday, Sept. 1 at New Castle. The varsity game will be played first at 5:30 followed by the JV game. The game was initially scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 6.

County tennis moved to May 4

The Hancock County tennis championship will be held at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 4 at Mt. Vernon High School. Both the varsity and junior varsity will compete in the tournament. The event was originally scheduled for April 22, but postponed due to rain, and the May 4 date coordinates with all four schools’ schedules.

Open swim and lifeguard class at NPHS natatorium

Community patrons are reminded that Adult open lap swim is available on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 5:30-6:30 a.m. each week through June.  Additionally, Wednesday evening open swims will be held from 6:30-7:30 p.m. beginning April 20 until June 1.  Fees are $2 per session. The boys basketball team will travel to Yorktown tomorrow night for an HHC showdown with the Tigers.  Yorktown Athletic Department is donating $1 to Riley Hospital for any Fan who wears RED tomorrow at Yorktown in support of this charity fundraiser.    Let’s show our Dragon Pride and help out a worthy cause.   Go Dragons!
