Boys volleyball wins on Senior Night

The New Palestine boys volleyball team took control early in each set Tuesday and pulled away to a 25-12, 25-21, 25-14 victory over Cardinal Ritter. The match was senior night for the Dragons' Matthew Everett and Cade Rodgers, who both played big roles in the victory. Eli Greene led the Dragons at the net with six kills and three blocks. Jaxon Hinkle added six kills and two blocks, while Daysen Wood had six kills and a block. Rodgers had four kills and a block. Kameron Engle tallied 26 assists, five aces and six digs. Defensively, Eli Martin had 11 digs. Aaron Smith had five digs and two aces. Maguire Gross added four digs and four aces. The Dragons are now 10-11 on the season. They next play Thursday at Park Tudor.
