The New Palestine golf team dropped a triangular match Thursday in as close of a score as one might find, as the three teams were separated by one stroke. NP and Columbus North each shot 160, while Shelbyville won the meet with 159. Nick Barada and Luke Cofer led the Dragons, with each shooting 38, tying for match medalist honors. Josiah Kissel and Ty Mitchell added 42s, while Joey McPike's 44 was the fifth score. The Dragons are next in action Saturday at the Martinsville Artesian Classic.
